ADHD Management for Women

Focusing on women's issues in the realm of ADHD including executive function skills, organization and motivation strategies, time management and emotional regulation

Concussion Management

Offering treatment for clients with mild to moderate concussions including memory strategies, sleep strategies, planning and organization

Post COVID Syndrome

Also known as Long COVID, Long-Haul COVID or Chronic COVID. Providing strategies to help clients cope with fatigue, improve concentration ("brain fog") and find the energy to complete daily tasks

Dementia

Assisting clients encountering difficulties related to dementia by providing memory strategies, facilitating independence in meaningful daily activities, and managing responsive behaviors

Independence at Home

Facilitating independence, efficiency, safety and satisfaction with all daily activities within the home environment

Independence in the Community

Facilitating independence outside the home, including at work, while shopping, and navigating the neighbourhood

Joanne received her Masters in Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy at the University of Toronto in 2008. Prior to that, she completed an Honors BA program in psychology. Since then, Joanne has gained experience working with adults in many different settings, such as in rehabilitation hospitals and in the community.
Joanne is registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO) and is a member of CAOT, OSOT and WFOT. 
Joanne is positive, professional, and enjoys working together with her clients to help them achieve their goals and increase their confidence and enjoyment of life.  In her spare time, Joanne enjoys being with her family, reading, cooking, and relaxing in nature.
